Transatlantic Summer School on Sustainability

The Transatlantic Summer School on Sustainability includes seminars and workshops on problem-solving strategies in the areas of intercultural communication, environment, sustainability and digital transformation. In 2024, the Summer School took place for the second time - for the first time in the USA! The theme of this year's Summer School was Sustainability of Food. The program consisted of a four-week online phase and a two-week face-to-face phase.

Ruhr West will host the Summer School in 2025!

The Summer School is a cooperation between Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences, Hochschule Harz, Wayne State University and Iowa State University.
