Innovation through cooperation. The Institute of Mechanical Engineering focuses on the economic production of small series and the entire product life cycle. Our laboratories cover production, design, robotics, materials, quality management, additive manufacturing (incl. IoT lab), automotive engineering and intelligent mobility. The focus areas are developed in close cooperation with companies and schools in the region in order to meet the needs of industry and students.
