Health and Medicine Technologies
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY OF THE FUTURE
Health is the greatest good. To protect it, new technologies and more data are available today than ever before. As graduates, you are experts in the interdisciplinary conception, implementation and further development of the necessary scenarios in the healthcare sector. You will continue to drive the development of medical technologies and thus shape innovations in the healthcare sector.
What you can expect
- Basics of medicine
- Medical technology and medical informatics
- Organization and structure of the healthcare system
Digitalization has arrived in the healthcare system and is changing the technology of diagnosis, treatment and communication. At the same time, the digitalization and personalization of medicine as well as growing patient empowerment pose major challenges for the healthcare system.
Data, information and new technologies, which are already available today in a variety of ways, are the linchpin. In some areas there are already practical solutions - the development horizon for most applications extends far into the future.
Your study content
- Basic subjects such as mathematics, natural sciences and computer science
- Basics of medicine
- Examination regulations, module handbook, study plan
The degree program spans the interdisciplinary spectrum between medical technology, computer science and healthcare management. It enables you to work digitally networked and individually for the well-being of patients.
What will you learn?
You will immerse yourself in current topics such as robotics, medicine and computer science. In addition to the basics of medical technology, you will learn how the healthcare system is structured. Engineering basics such as electrical engineering, measurement technology and programming are also included.
This will help you during your studies
