We are a young, dynamic team that is bursting with ideas. If you have any for us, please let us know!

We have grown from the original one-man library (May 2009) to a 13-person team (May 2024). Our offerings and services have also grown with us.

For example, we currently offer a stock of more than 44,300 books, around 507,000 electronic media and around 170 magazine subscriptions across our two locations (as of summer 2024). And the best thing about the journals: they can be borrowed!

Whether you want to renew a subscription, request a book, research literature or need training, we are here for you.

Even at weekends thanks to our generous opening hours.

In addition to providing you with digital and printed media, our central concern is to provide you with comprehensive support for learning and working as students and academics at the HRW.

Your information competence is our task. You will find competent contact persons who will be happy to help you successfully search for the media relevant to you.

Our training courses explain how to conduct your research successfully, how to keep track of your literature, which special databases licensed by us you can use for your tasks and much more.

We see the university library as an attractive place of learning in which both cooperative and concentrated learning should be possible.  You are welcome to bring drinks, small snacks and sweets in your own bag so that you can recharge your batteries during your study breaks.
